Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko NKS3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 NKS probe, a cabled probe for thick protective coatings on non-ferrous metal substrates. With the NKS fitted, the gauge reads 0–13 mm (0–500 mils). For thick coatings on non-ferrous metal, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
