The DeFelsko SPGS3 combines the Advanced PosiTector gage body with the cabled PosiTector SPG S probe, a digital depth micrometer for blasted steel. It measures peak-to-valley profile from 0 – 500 µm (0 – 20 mils) and is suited to reaching blasted steel surfaces where a separate cabled probe is easier to place. Blasting contractors and coating inspectors use it to confirm surface preparation before coating.
