A 20 amp usually closed SPST switch is built into the Series CX Compressor Pressure Switches to provide direct control over pumps and motors. Using screw terminals located inside the lid, it is simple to modify the deadband and set point. The switches come with an optional 4-port connection block on the CX-4 versions or a 1/4" female NPT process connection for simplicity of installation. In addition to making installation simpler, a pressure gauge can be installed using one of the other ports. These switches also allow for any direction of mounting.
For controlling the tank pressure of tiny air compressors, these devices are ideal. An unloader valve is included with the CX series switches to stop compressors from starting when under load. Additionally, they have an auto/off disconnect lever that can be used to manually stop the load. To turn on the load, press the test button located inside the housing when the lever is in the off position.
