Ruggedly built and perfect for direct measurement of a variety of suitable gases, oil- or water-based liquids, are the Model HFB-6-150 In-Line Flow Monitors. Variable area flow measurement and a floating orifice disk serve as the foundation for the design of this series. The orifice disk and ring-shaped magnet, which are mounted on a tapered central shaft, are forced to move linearly by flowing media. A ring on the magnet follower, which is external to the flow tube and driven by the transfer magnet, shows the flow rate on the direct reading scale.
