Series PG Gas Pressure/Differential Pressure Switches combine a large, sensitive diaphragm with a dependable, tried-and-true mechanical mechanism. Their features include an easy-to-read, clear scale with exceptional repeatability of ±1% of the complete scale, convenient external setpoint adjustment, and compatibility with air and other compatible gases.
Numerous switching options, such as SPST, SPDT, DPST, and DPDT, which open or close in response to pressure, vacuum, or differential increases, ensure application versatility. Manual reset functionality is added to the PR and PRL models in response to changes in pressure. Where excessive humidity might be an issue, snap switches or mercury switches with hermetically sealed construction are available. Snap switches can be used if vibration or other conditions make using mercury impossible. NEMA 1 housing is the norm. In order to meet the criteria for weather resistance, optional enclosures are available.
