Dwyer Instruments WE06 | 3-Piece NPT stainless steel v-ball valve
A V-port ball valve is incorporated into the Series WE06 to provide remarkable flow rates with little pressure loss. Compared to segmented control valves and globe valves of a similar size, quarter turn control ball valves are significantly less expensive, lighter, and more compact. They can also tolerate large pressure reductions and provide a bubble-tight shut-off with zero leakage. There is an equal % flow characteristic provided by the 60° and 90° balls. The V-port ball valves from W. E. Anderson are engineered to provide maximum flow characteristics that are significantly higher than those of globe valves of a similar size. Ball valves' inherent flow pattern boosts flow rates, and they can be employed in many applications where the valve size is lower than that of a pipeline. Direct mounting of the actuators results in a small assembly suitable for confined places.
