There are 16-channel potential distribution or 1-channel power-feed options for the Emerson RSTi-EP power modules. Terminal strips are a possible distribution method for adding 16 functional earth, ground, or 24VDC connections for other equipment (such as fans, lights, etc.) that you want to connect to your RSTi-EP remote I/O system. When the demand from the modules is too high, the power-feed modules add an extra 10A of power to isolate the power supply and refresh the current path.
These modules are not taken into account during configuration because they lack fieldbus communication and can only be installed three in a row before an active module is required.
