The ifm electronic Photoelectric Distance Sensor is a robust M30 laser sensor designed for precise distance measurement in industrial automation applications. Utilizing time-of-flight (ToF) technology, it offers a measurement range from 30 mm to 2 m with reliable background suppression and colour-independent detection. The sensor features two complementary NPN outputs (NO/NC), an intuitive rotary setting ring for easy adjustment, and IO-Link communication for advanced diagnostics. Its stainless steel housing ensures durability, and it operates within a wide temperature range of −25 °C to +60 °C, making it suitable for various challenging environments.
