The KERN ORM 2SU is a handheld digital refractometer for direct measurement of different sugar types in water-based liquids, with four switchable scales. Brix covers 0 % to 50 %, dextran 0 % to 11 %, lactose (milk sugar) 0 % to 17 % and maltose (malt sugar) 0 % to 16 %, each read out to 0.1 %.
It has automatic temperature compensation, mean value measurements and IP65 protection, and is calibrated with distilled water.
