The Martindale MARTL178 is a null pin carried on a key fob. It is used to null out the resistance of the earth bond lead supplied with Martindale's HPAT500 and HPAT600, so earth bond readings reflect the appliance rather than the lead. It can be used with any PAT tester that has a lead-nulling function.
