Matherne Shaft Encoder | 1 to 2000 PPR, Quadrature AB, 9-28 VDC
The Matherne heavy-duty shaft encoder reports position, count and speed on the rig floor, where it has to cope with harsh operating conditions. It outputs a two-channel quadrature (AB) signal with resolution from 1 to 2000 pulses per revolution and accepts 9 to 28 VDC input power. It is intended for the Matherne I-Stop electronic crown protector and can also work with some crown protector systems from other manufacturers.

- Aluminium housing with a stainless steel shaft
- 5/8 in-18 UNF shaft thread to suit Eaton B2 or B3 rotor seals, or 1 in-14 UNS thread for Eaton C or C2 rotor seals
- Convertible shaft size, with a range of shaft couplings and adapters offered
- Seven-socket female Amphenol mating connector
- Rated for up to 1000 RPM and -40 to 80 °C operation
