The Micronics UF D5500 is a fixed clamp-on Doppler flow meter for 'difficult' liquids containing solids or bubbles, including raw sewage, sludge and slurries, viscous liquids, solvents, pulp stock, food products, lubricating oils and crude oil. Its single-head sensor fits on the outside of any pipe from 12.7 mm to 4.5 m ID, so there is no pipe cutting, no contact with the fluid and no pressure drop. It measures flow in either direction and includes display, totaliser, outputs and logging as standard.
