The Palmer Wahl 18_12_Recorder is a fully mechanical pressure circular chart recorder in a heavy, all-welded die-cast aluminium case, built for 8 in or 12 in charts. It carries one, two or three pens, each driven by a field-replaceable 316 stainless steel pressure element, and offers five case mounting styles. The weatherproof case has a lockable, weatherstripped door, screened vents and stainless internals to cope with outdoor vibration. Each unit is made to order in Asheville, North Carolina.

- Glass, plexiglass, safety glass or solid door
- PC-11 or PC-12 C-cell battery drives, 30 minutes to 32 days
