The Pi Tape P2SP covers outside diameters of 12–36 in, reading in inches to a stated tolerance of ±0.001 in, and is made from 1095 spring steel. It is used to measure the O.D. of round parts directly, giving consistent and repeatable results across the 12–36 in span. With a starting point of 12 in, the P2SP uses the standard 0.010 in (0.25 mm) material thickness.
